You're honesty and openness is inspiring....Wow. You're honesty and openness is inspiring. I see a lot of myself in what you wrote. Went through that same kind of denial for many years, probably from about 15 until college and then up until my mid-20s. Scary high A1Cs in the teens and just... hopelessness. That's my biggest regret in my life, the lack of D-Management and lying and just denial. But, we can move on. Kudos to you for getting to this point where you can so openly talk about it, share and unload some of that burden. And yes, well done on the parents' conversation. I've had some of those myself after sessions with my "Mind Ninja". Not the most pleasant, but necessary. And I felt SO MUCH better. Shara, you're not alone in this. You've got us in the DOC.
