Even the cutting-in-line passes that Disney gives kids with pumps feels a bit over the top.

Our kids' lives are so, so, so close to normal.katyhttp://bigfootchildhavediabetes.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8558600516354611555.post-2635637507152785962013-09-22T22:21:03.837-04:002013-09-22T22:21:03.837-04:00That's a lovely idea. As for those criteria you listed, most of them I would answer "only if you let it" (with the understanding that, for some people, it's an absolute 'yes' no matter how hard they try, but it seems not in this case).

Perhaps there's a way you can nominate one of those other patients you mentioned ... or encourage their families to submit them for consideration? Then I think everyone would feel better - even the family that was denied - knowing that the one who needs it most got the wish.Scott Ehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00259475635753627498noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8558600516354611555.post-36519195379023388852013-09-22T19:01:50.098-04:002013-09-22T19:01:50.098-04:00You are definitely not a grinch! You were put in a bad situation, and handled it as you thought appropriate. It's still hard, I know, but you absolutely did the right thing.Amy - Diabetes x 2http://diabetesx2.comnoreply@blogger.com
